INTRODUCTION TO NONSURGICAL ULTRAFORMER TREATMENTS

Nonsurgical lifting by the Ultraformer uses micro and macro-focalized Ultrasound techniques to treat different layers of the subcutaneous tissue. Micro-focalization, from 1.5 to 4.5 mm deep, stimulates collagen production in the face. The handheld apparatus for macro-focalization is used on the body. Its action is even deeper, up to 13 mm under the skin, targeting fat deposits and successfully eliminating cellulite.

The Ultraformer treatment is ideal for patients with fine lines and wrinkles, and for patients who want an overall lifting effect for the face and body, but without surgery. Our practicians can vary the depth of the Ultrasound to treat the face and the silhouette with different intensities during sessions. The Ultraformer can be used in conjunction with other cosmetic treatments for optimal results. HIFU’s action on wrinkles and sagging skin is particularly effective when combined with hyaluronic acid injections. TREATMENT PROCEDURE

Before starting treatment, the cosmetic doctor establishes a diagnosis based on your needs. According to your desires, the zones to be treated, and your medical history, he will present all the options to you and propose the best protocol. If Ultraformer ultrasound non-surgical lifting treatment is the best solution for you, the procedure is as follows:

Premedication is necessary. Anesthetic cream is applied thirty minutes before the session. After removing make-up and disinfecting the skin, the doctor will trace the contours of the area. He then applies the conductive gel and programs the machine. First, he will use deep action, targeting fat, then will gradually approach the surface, treating the different layers of the dermis and epidermis, tightening the skin and smoothing wrinkles.

A comprehensive treatment includes 1-3 sessions spaced a month apart. The ultrasound causes the skin tissue to retract and stimulates collagen production. The skin appears firmer and smoother. Drinking 1.5 liters of water a day is recommended to effectively and efficiently flush out fat. The final result is visible after two or three months and lasts several years, before the normal skin ageing process resumes.

Depending on the patient’s age and skin condition, an annual touch-up may be prescribed to maintain optimal, long-term results.

SIDE EFFECTS OF TREATMENT

Ultrasound can cause moderate pain, often described as “discomfort” during the sessions. Several hours or days after the nonsurgical facelift, the patient may notice some mild redness or tingling. Normal activities can be resumed immediately upon leaving the clinic.

If there is any redness, bruising or itching after a treatment, it will disappear quickly.

Focalized ultrasound causes no known long-term side effects or complications.
