your expectations
i use facial lipofilling because i want to :
- Correct my loss of volume (fine lines, wrinkles, dark circles)
- Fill in the hollows of my face (accident, deformity, illness)
- Firmer skin on my face
- Enjoy a rested face and a radiant complexion
- Benefit from a natural facial expression
.
Over time, visible signs of skin aging gradually appear: sunken cheeks, sagging skin, hardening of the features, circles under the eyes, etc… Facial lipofilling is the natural alternative to injections of toxins and acids that will increase the volume of certain areas of your face to remove the signs of aging of your skin.
facial Lipofilling presentation
Facial lipofilling is a medico-surgical technique that consists of taking fat from an opulent area (belly, hips) in order to inject it into an area of the face affected by aging (facial wrinkles, etc.).
By restoring radiance to your skin thanks to facial lipofilling, you quickly regain a rejuvenated face, a clean and well reshaped skin. During your very first consultation, the cosmetic surgeon at your Clinique de la Croix d’Or will take the time to appreciate your needs and guide you towards the best facial aesthetic care for your skin.
For the treatment of loss of volume or wrinkles, you may, for example, be directed towards the hyaluronic acid injection or the botulinum toxin injection (Botox). To find out more about our beauty treatments, please do not hesitate to contact us.

course for the facial lipofilling intervention
In order to make an accurate diagnosis of your needs, your cosmetic doctor begins by carefully examining your face. He or she will make sure that facial lipofilling is the most appropriate solution for the treatment of your skin. Your practitioner can then suggest a different aesthetic treatment if he or she feels that another treatment better meets your expectations.
If lipofilling presents the best aesthetic care for your skin, the procedure can then begin.
First of all, your plastic surgeon begins by making sure that you have no contraindications.
Once this check-up has been completed, he will define with you the fat areas to be removed and the recipient areas. Your practitioner then ensures a rigorous cleaning of the injected area as well as the fat donor area.
Once the areas have been identified and cleaned, your plastic surgeon can begin to remove the fat tissues using a syringe. This operation is done on a donor area of your body such as the abdomen, hips or thighs. Depending on the amount of fat that needs to be injected into your face, your surgeon may apply one or more small incisions.
Finally, once the fat has been removed and purified, your doctor may begin injecting fat into the recipient area of your face. This step is done strategically to ensure that the autograft will take hold.
The procedure is most often performed under local anaesthesia. The lipofilling session is almost painless and never exceeds 2 hours, depending on the number of areas to be treated and the surfaces involved.
At the end of the session, the first results are already visible. We systematically see you again within 15 days after your visit to our clinic to evaluate the results of your operation.
After you leave the clinic, you simply have to follow the indications and prescriptions of your aesthetic doctor to ensure your convalescence. The result of lipofilling is often stable over time.
Depending on the treatment plan defined with your plastic surgeon, several lipofilling sessions may be necessary.
Facial lipofilling side-effects
The consequences vary according to the extent of the lipofilling. It is almost inevitable that there will be swelling and bruising for a few days, so that the patient can resume activity after 48 to 72 hours. Resuming sports activities is possible after a minimum of 1 month.
