The EMSculpt is a non-invasive technology used to shape the body. Thanks to high intensity electromagnetic waves (HIFEM), intense and repeated muscle contractions (approximately 20 000 per session) are induced to burn fat and shape your silhouette. To achieve good results, we recommend a minimum of 4 sessions of 30 minutes each. Allow 2 to 3 days between each session. Finally, you should know that the results are visible from the first session and can still evolve up to 3 months after the cure.
WHO CAN DO EMSCULPTING SESSIONS?
The EMSculpt sessions are accessible to both men and women. As it is not a surgical intervention, no recovery time is required. You will be able to go home between sessions. Only a few aches and pains, such as after an intensive sport session, may be felt.
However, there are some contraindications to the use of the EMSculpt technology. You cannot benefit from this service if:
- You have a pacemaker or another cardiac stimulator;
- You have an electronic or metal implant (even IUDs);

- You have a malignant tumour;
- You are pregnant;
- You have an unexplained fever;
- You are allergic to latex.

ARE THE RESULTS OBTAINED AFTER AN EMSCULPT SESSION REALLY LONG-LASTING?

AFTER AN EMSCULPT SESSION, WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS?
The EMSculpt technology is non-invasive. It is not an aesthetic surgery service. Therefore, you will not have any visible marks or follow-up care to expect. The high intensity electromagnetic waves (HIFEM) act in depth but do not cause any side effects. The only risk is that you will feel aches and pains for a few days, as after a session of intensive sport.

IS AN EMSCULPT SESSION PAINFUL?
Before your first EMSculpt session, you will define, with the doctor, the area(s) to be treated. Then, at the beginning of the session, he will set the device to a low intensity so that your body gets used to the sensation. Little by little, the intensity level can be increased to obtain better results.
Even so, an EMSculpt session should not be painful. Since each patient has his or her own sensitivity, it is up to you to let us know how much HIFEM you can tolerate without discomfort. The only pain you are likely to experience is the aches and pains that may appear after the session.
