Renew your skin after the summer : Go with peeling !
After exposing your skin to UV rays all summer long,
Your “healthy glow” starts to diminish,
In the end, we are deprived of it,
With the final blow of winter…
THE STATEMENT IS THERE: YOUR SKIN HAS LOST ITS RADIANCE
Much to our regret, in the autumn, the skin thickens and offers us, to our great joy: dilated pores, spots, small pimples and blackheads. For the luckiest and most fortunate, all we get is a dull complexion.
Cleanse your skin to allow it to regenerate!!
Before even introducing our treatments, please note that the treatments are worth nothing without a good daily skin care routine.
Try to get a six-pack by doing just one workout a month… it’s the same for your skin. If you cleanse and protect with daily care (such as the Universkin range of products from the Clinique de la Croix d’Or (we will come back to this in a future article) you get maximum protection throughout the day.
OpT FOR THE PEELING!
There are 3 types of peeling:
- Superficial one with Fruit Acids to stimulate, regenerate and bring radiance.
- Medium one: soothes out superficial and medium wrinkles.
- Deep : more consequential intervention to reduce deep wrinkles and important scars.
Today, we will focus on the most recommended of the 3 treatments to bring radiance and freshness to all skin types, the superficial peeling or with AHA. Start it at any time of the year!
This fabulous peel loaded with fruit acids will smooth your skin texture, remove all small granularities and erase acne marks (pimples and scars) and pigmentation spots, while bringing back a natural glow to your face.
THE PEELING, HOW DOES IT WORK?
The application of the peel will remove a first layer of your skin by chemical action, this blurred layer made of dead cells, to create an inflammatory reaction, which then leads to the healing and regeneration of newer and plumper skin.
Nothing to be afraid of!
Many people are turned off by the harsh sound of the words “chemical peel” and do not dare to take the plunge.
Do not worry! Superficial peeling does not require any social eviction.
You will feel a slight and painless tingling during the session which only lasts the duration of the session. And for the most sensitive skin, a slight redness, like a small sunburn, that will disappear in the following days. Depending on your skin type, a slight exfoliation may be visible or non-existent after the treatment.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD you peel?
How often should a peeling be done?
Of course, a perfect complexion cannot be achieved in just one session!
It is generally recommended to perform 4 sessions at intervals of 4 weeks. This protocol is defined by the doctor during the first consultation and is adjusted according to your needs.
The Clinique de la Croix d’Or’s plus: after treatment, you are pampered with a soothing mask and a cocooning session of light therapy to deeply repair the tissues.
